What is this thing called an "Update"?

Here's a slight revamp of Yves, also known as Zeplyn (haven't decided if I want to go with EVE, the french way to pronounce it or EVES, my way of sayin' it). He is one of the main characters of Key Element, matter of fact he's Damon's right hand man and best friend. He has a little baton weapon and Italian boots (even though there is no Italy in the world of KE, oh well) Very happy with this. Oh, and don't worry...he does actually have hands..I'm just..lazy. And this turned into more than I was intending.

Oh...hey there...

Ohh dear...I haven't posted anything in so long...I apologize for this. This will change, I promise. Especially since I will be busy working on my senior film (which can be found on the side bar or here). I may post things on this blog to get people interested and I will try to get some actual Key Element stuff up here...I did a lot of writing this summer so hopefully I can pump out some pages within the year. Would be nice..

Cleaner..super..heroes..?

One of my instructors "suggested" that I clean the lines up and color 'em for a mini job fair that was earlier today. And so here you go.

The job fair went alright, a couple people took my reel which pleased me but everyone I came across was more interested in people who could do special effects/3D or more advertising related stuff. Not a big deal. Gonna try and send stuff out next week while I'm on "break" to some companies/studios.

I don't really know where these came from...*shrug* there isn't much reason for it..

Same two characters, you should be able to tell who they are even though these are kinda (a lot) off model. Pretty happy with the top one, he came out kinda beefy in both which is weird.

So more on the Key Element topic; I more or less have a rough outline of the entire book done. Just gotta write a bit more out and then type/clean it all up. Hope to start the actual comic sometime next year. :)

Random Life Update

Ehm..yeah...School started back up. Haven't gotten around to doing much personal art, just sorta tweaking pre-existing things.

Been writing a lot for KE though..Perhaps the over all plot will get done within the next few months and then I can tune/clean some things up and start planning out pages for the actual comic. Holycrap.

Really excited for my classes this semester, hopefully I do just as well if not better than this past one (which happened to be my best yet despite being my most busy and challenging).
